Welcome! Have you ever heard, known the Game of Go? Or, you didn't know how to begin? The game of "Go" is one the most popular and complex board game, especially in the Far East. It was first invented in China around 3000-4000 years ago, but then it was introduced in Japan where the game has really developed. It's also called "Weiqi" in China and "Baduk" in Korea.

I would advice for beginners to start on the 9x9 board, then gradually going up at the same pace of your confidence level. The rules are no different across the three boards, but the games are shorter and easier to learn from the 9x9 board. In this site, I will show you the 5 simple rules of Go, so you can play and have an understanding about the game!
